INTRODUCTION
LeBron, he is the biggest name in basketball today. He is 33 years old and still dominating the court, making it look as though if the young rookies were the ones who were in their 30's. He is becoming better as he ages, and it's true, he's averaging 27.8 points per game, 9.1 rebounds per game, and 8.1 assists per game, in his 16th season! He cannot be stopped, he is a locomotive, and he will steamroll over anybody in his way, statwise, and physically. HE HAS BURNT HIS LEGACY INTO THE NBA'S HEART, AND HAS LEFT A MARK AS THE NBA'S KING. Hey, and if you think Jordan's the G.O.A.T, you're dellusional, go compare the stats, especially the win shares, rpg, apg, box plus/minus, v.o.r.p. Its fine if you don't know some of these stats, but they matter, they tell the impact, or value of the player in all their career games. In the following paragraphs, LeBron's dominancy will be broken down, and his legacy will be examined to see why he is the G.O.A.T.
GET OVER IT, LEBRON'S BETTER THAN JORDAN
Okay, even if you are a Jordan fan, I'm going to shove this fact down your throat: LeBron has surpasseed Jordan, and he can say to Jordan, "Get on my level". It is pretty easy to notice it, Jordan had gassed out by 33, and from there on, it was just wonky, till his last seasson, where completely underperformed, but you look at LeBron's stats, you see improvemrnt, and value, you don't see dips, but rather a more stable and consistent stat line. You almost start feeling bad for Jordan, with the looks of his career and stat line dip. Jordan was also surrounded by a top-rated squad, hmmmm... funnny, I don't remember if LeBron had a good squad, which he carried through the season, the playoffs, all the way to the NBA Finals.
LEBRON IS IN THE BETTER ERA
How is the NBA today, that's right, filled with legends, new talent, and freaks that withstand anything. Some players come out on a nightly basis to put up a fat triple-double, and its normal, today's NBA contains more versatile players, that can play all the positions, unlike the NBA from the 70's to the 00's. Players that played in that era were paired up against less skilled players, which led to monstrous stats every night, giving them the title of "G.O.A.T", the players in that era, the mediocre ones, were just about as good as today's bottom line. The mediocre players of today could probably beat some superstars of that era. LeBron is putting monstrous stats up against all of the abundant talent of our era.
