Space is simply everything and everything to ever exist is in space
Our planet is infact quite small and everything on our planet is small compared to the universe.
Our Universe is also believed to be one of many.
These are three things that we will cover on this Home page:
- Kardashev scale
- Where are we on the scale?
- How can we become a type III civilisation.
The Kardashev scale is a a three step scale that rates a civilisation in how advanced it is.
The scale was created by a Soviet astronomer called "Nikolai Kardashev" in the year 1964.
He said that all galactic civilisations that contain "intelegent" life are placed on this scale.
The three steps on the scale are:
Level I civilisation:
"The Planetary Civilisation" We only use the energy, supplies, ressources that are on our planet.
Level II civilisation:
"The Stellar Civilisation" We harness the power of the sun on a massive scale gaining ressources to control and build on all nearby planets.
Finally the Level III civilisation:
"The Galactic Civilisation" We not only harness the energy of our sun but instead we build a civilisation on a glactic scale.
Now where is our civilisation on the Kardashev scale?
We are infact in the lowest possible spot on the scale at "Level I Civilisation".
How can we improve on the scale?
The only way that we can improve on this scale is if we create a machine called "Dyson Sphere".
