One Direction were put together on the X Factor
in 2010. They all auditioned solo, not knowing eachother
when one of the judges made a suggestion to put them together.
Liam, Harry, Zayn and Louis are from different cities all over
England, and Niall is from Ireland.
Their first album "Up All Night", released
in 2011.
One Direction came out with their second album
in 2013, it was called Take me home. Once they
released the album they set off on a world tour.
Their newest single is called the Best Song Ever.
One Direction sold 19 million singles and 10 million albums.
"What makes you beautiful", their first single,
sold 153,965 copies in its first week.
