Nanami's fathers gambling debts,he abandons her.
up:move out.
Nanami sits on park bench because she didn't have home.
When she notices a dog barking at a man who is on a tree.
She let the dog away and finds out that the man's name is Mikage, and he is very afraid of dogs.
He asks why Nanami is out all alone.
She tells him her story, and he gives her a map to his "home".
Mikage give her a kiss on the her forehead.
Upon her arrival at the shrine, Nanami meets Tomoe, who is a fox Yokai with two fire demon children that are there to serve the land god and Mikage was the God of the Land.
They know that Mikage gave Nanami the Land God mark when he kissed her forehead.
Nanami must now take care of the shrine.
Tomoe is angry about Mikage leaving for 20 years, disagree to serve her and goes back to the "other" world.
Nanami wants to bring Tomoe back and goes to the "other" world, but she know he doesn't care about shrine after she finds Tomoe.
Nanami is angry and go back herself.
But the "other " world is demons' world,she meet many demon on her way back.
Nanami makes a contract with Tomoe to become her serve, Nanami orders him to save her from the demons.
Nanami wakes up in the temple, and think Tomoe to be her serve not really.
But she sees Tomoe sit beside her bed, he is very sad to be her serve.
Nanami wants to go to school after seeing news about Kurama, an populal idol who attending her school.

Tomoe doesn't want her to go, but later he allows her to go under the condition that she wears a hood in order to cover the deity mark on her forehead.
After Nanami know that Kurama is a arrogant idol, she doesn't like him anymore.
And Kurama calls Nanami to the roof.
The real reason he calls her is he wants to eat her so that he becomes the God of Land,
but Tomoe kicks him in the back and saves Nanami by turning Kuruma into an ostrich.
Tomoe wants to cook Kurama with his fox flame.
Below:Tomoe:I am so happy, because we eat ostrich tonight.
But Nanami knows they are fight in the school and she saves Kuruma.
Tomoe tells her Kurama's true identity: a crow tengu.
After she knows she orders Tomoe to turn him back to normal.
below:Tomoe:I only want to protect
Then Nanami sees his wound and tries to clean it but he tells her to leave it alone, so she grabs his face telling him
"I don't like you, but plenty girls out there do, so you wanna look your best for those girls don't you?"
So Kurama looks at her and starts to blush and allows her to clean his wound.
But Tomoe is angry beside because he saves Nanami but she is care of Kurama.
03.God Ties The Knot
Imperial Priestess of Lake, Isara, who is a catfish, comes to meet Nanami, but Tomoe does not let Nanami to meet with Isara.
Isara's serve, Bamboo fight with Tomoe Because he think Nanami doesn't respect Isara.
Below:Nanami:Please listen to me, please don't fight.
Tomoe let Bamboo change to a fish and wants to cook him.
Below:Tomoe:This is good breakfast.
Nanami stops the fighting using force through the power of words,
and know force which is the power of Earth God to their serve.
Below:Tomoe:See,she is very happy.
The Priestess coming to visit is she love a human boy, Urashima Kotarou, who she met ten years ago at Lake Isara.
Nanami promises to help.
The Next day, Nanami goes to town want to find Kotarou, and Tomoe go with her to town.
Below:Nanami:Ok,we go to find Kotarou.
They find Kotarou at a restaurant.
Nanami persuades him to meet the Priestess, and he agrees.
They meet at the park and do well at first, but the Priestess is surrounded by bad guys later while Kotarou is gone.
Nanami helps Kotarou to save Isara by pushing through the tree with a talisman.
04.God Gets Kidnapped
Nanami saves a white snake at school, and it leaves a mark of betrothed on her hand.
When Tomoe found out,
he goes to school with her because he does not want her to be kidnapped.
Below:Nanami:Why I need go to school with he?
After finishing the shift to fill up the class log, Nanami goes out first because Tomoe fell asleep.
But she is kidnapped by the snake, Mizuki.
Below:Mikuki:I am this shrine's master's serve, Mizuki.
Tomoe gets up know Nanami is kidnapped and let his fox farme to find her.
He back to the shirne and waits farme's news.
She doesn't want to marry Mizuki, she tries to leave the shrine but she cannot.
Below:Nanami:No,I don't marry to you.
Later, Nanami finds out that the shrines God has died.
Mizuki explains what happened.
He asks her to stay with him, but Nanami disagree, because if she stay with Mizuki, Tomoe is lonely, too.
While Mizuki tries to force her stay, Tomoe comes to save Nanami.
Then Tomoe fight with Mizuki.
But Tomoe burns the shrine and also tries to burn the tree that is Mizuki's master only thing.
Below:Tomoe:I will brun that thing to offset you mistake.
Then Nanami stops Tomoe.
Nanami and Tomoe go back,and Nanami promises to see Mizuki again when he feels lonely.
That let Tomoe very angry.
05.God Loses Her House
Narukami, god of thunder, has always wanted Tomoe as her serve.
Now he serves is Nanami, a human girl.
Narukami sees her chance to take away Nanami's godhood and make Tomoe to her serve.
She goes Nanami's school where she steals Nanami's God mark and transforms Tomoe into a child.
But Tomoe's yokai force is very stronge and make Tomoe get ill.
Below:Nanami:Tomoe, are you ok?
They don't have home again.
They meet Kurama and they go to Kurama's home.
Below:Kurama: who wants to sleep with that fox.
Withoutout Tomoe at the shrine to take care of it, the shrine is old.
Narukami promise if Tomoe to her shirne and she will make Tomoe back.
But Tomoe go to her shrine but he doesn't want to be her serve and he hide in the shrine.
Below:Tomoe:Bye.
Narukami cannot find Tomoe and said to Nanami if Nanami found Tomoe Narukami would release him to her back to his rightful size and return her God mark.
Nanami find Tomoe in the Mikage's mirror.
And Narukami returns God mark to her and Tomoe is back to his adult.
