There are different consumer behaviour theories.
Psychological Models - These focus on motives for the buying and the process of learning.
Sociological Models - In Sociological, Consumer behaviour is dependant on social forces that influence them.
Economic Models - This focuses on the consumer as a self interested utility maximiser. The goal is to maximise his or her enjoyment from his or her purchases.
Stimulus Response Models - These models take into account certain factors including stimuli from the market.
